SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A Scranton family has decided after more than 50 years it must sell its' business. Brunetti's Market on North Main Avenue in Scranton has served the community more than 5-decades and survived one generation to the next.

Sunday, John Brunetti, the founder’s son, said there are no more local family members to carry on the name and he will retire by selling the store.

Brunetti began working with his father at the market when he was just 16-years-old, and has carried on the name ever since.

Brunetti thanks all of his faithful customers and promises to remain open until a buyer is found.
