LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Two months past the deadline and still no state budget. The impasse has a lot of people angry.

Dozens of Children and Youth Services workers protested in Scranton Tuesday. They get 80% of their money from the state.

Workers say it's affected programs like foster care and mental health services. They also say caseloads are growing and they don't have enough people to do the work.

This group plans to protest on their lunch break every Tuesday until a budget is passed.

And a senior center in Lackawanna County is cutting back because the state doesn't have a budget. The Abington Senior Community Center in South Abington Township cut services Tuesday.

Now they're only open three days a week. They also cut outreach program activities. They've stopped social and recreational transportation for the disabled.

They're also cutting back staff work schedules and phasing out homemaker services.
