SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY

Burglary charges against three Scranton men have been sent on to County court.

The suspects, Mark Wayne Clark, Christopher Crawford, and Robert Lyles gave up their right to a preliminary hearing on Wednesday morning.

They were all arrested in connection with a string of burglaries at tobacco shops in Lackawanna County's Mid and Up Valley areas. Police say they took merchandise at the shops which they then sold on the street. Officers estimate the loot and damages at $40,000.
