SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Homeless shelters in Scranton are beginning to see an increase in the numer of people looking for a warm place to stay because of bitter temperatures outside.
The Bethel A.M.E. Shelter housed 15 people Thursday night. Saint Anthony's Haven, a shelter run by Catholic Social Services, served 19.
Shelter operators say they expect those numbers to increase through the winter. | | |
