SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - The future of the COLTS bus service was the topic of conversation Tuesday afternoon in downtown Scranton.
COLTS held two public meetings at the Mall at Steamtown. They wanted to hear from riders and potential riders about the services they need.
COLTS is currently in the middle of a study on how it can improve its services.
Officials say they're looking to add new routes, especially in the Dickson City area, but need to hear from riders.
"This will ehlp us to determine what their needs are," COLTS Executive Director Bob Fiume said. "The more we hear from people and get their input and comments, the better we can judge what we need to do."
The bus route changes are expected to take effect later this year.
If you missed Tuesday's meetings, COLTS officials say you can contact their office at 800 North South Road in Scranton to have your voice heard. | |
