TANNERSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY - The Pocono area has a brand new attraction just in time for the holiday weekend. Camelback will open it'sCBK Mountain Adventure Park Saturday.

It includes rock climbing, bungee jumping, mountain segways and a tree top ropes course.

Rescue Guide Dane Kiely said "It's different but it's a lot of fun."

The course is right next to Camelbeach Water Park and resort managers say the outdoor activity fits the Poconos perfectly. Marketing Manager Megan McHugh said, "You can really come out here and test your stamina, test your strength, definitely test your fear of heights."

The course takes about two hours to complete. It includes suspended bridges, zip lnes and swinging logs. McHugh smiled, "You really feel amazing up there. It's kind of hard to explain."

The employees insist you don't have to worry about falling out of a tree, you're in a harness and safety is one of the most important things at the course. "Safety is number one," said Dane. You're always connected to a safety cable.

There's even a smallercourse for kids ages nine and up. Dane said, "Being in the outdoors, moving around it's good."

Ropes course admission is $29.99. You're encouraged to make reservations. You can call 570-629-1661 Ext. 1123.
