HANOVER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY - A Luzerne County bakery was scheduled to reopen Sunday despite some damage.

Buttonwood Bakery had to be boarded up along the San Souci Parkway in Hanover Township.

A car crashed through the storefront window Saturday morning and forced the business to shut down for the day.

An elderly woman at the wheel accidentally accelerated her car right through the window.

No one was hurt.

The owner, George Kempinski, told Eyewitness News he'd reopen his bakery Sunday morning at 7 o'clock.
