ARCHBALD, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- A Honesdale man plunged down a 70-foot embankment after losing control of his car.

Police say Michael Petersen was traveling east on the Casey Highway in Archbald. He crossed the median and the westbound lane, before plummeting down the embankment.

Peterson was taken to CMC. We are told his injuries are not life-threatening.
