DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A Lackawanna County business is closed after a car crashed into it. Crews are making repairs in Dunmore to the Wash-n-Go Laundromat in the 600-block of North Blakely Street.

Police say 32-year-old Lorraine Barclay was parked in the lot around 7:00 A. M. She thought the car was in park when she put her foot on the gas.

The car lurched forward and slammed through the front of the building. Nobody was inside at the time.

Barclay and 2-children, ages 10-months and 4-years, escaped serious injury. They went to the hospital to get checked out.

The laundromat expects to be closed all day and reopen Saturday.

An Exxon convenience store there was not damaged in the Dunmore crash.
