MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY - We now know the names of the four men who were killed by carbon monoxide poisoning in Monroe County.

All four of the victims were found inside a home on White Pine Road in the Winola Lakes Development of Middle Smithfield Township.

State Police say three of the victims, Michael Hopkins, Michael McGovern and Salvatore Facciponte, were all 19-year-old and from Stroudsburg. The fourth victim, 20-year-old Andrew Larson was from Scotrun.

Troopers say all four bodies were found inside a living room of the home around 5:00 PM Saturday afternoon by a family member. An electric space heater, which was connected to a portable generator, is being blamed for creating the deadly carbon monoxide gas.

All of the deaths have been ruled accidental.
