CARBONDALE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - Less than a week after a business went up in flames in Lackawanna County, owners are following through on their promise to rebuild.
The owners of Dyvex Industries in Carbondale are working to get back on their feet just five days after the fire.
From the back of a car, the work goes on for employees. They are still working to contact all their vendors and suppliers.
"One of our partners is already out in Chicago looking at equipment and looking at alternatives for different types of equipment, so we're in the process of restructuring," co-owner Robert Strony said.
Employees have pictures of better times to keep them focused while rebuilding. Long-time worker David Pettinato says the only way to go...is to go forward.
"There's no time to feel sorry. We have customer needs that need to be met and we've got to get ourselves up and running so we can meet those needs," Pettinato said.
The fire at Dyvex Industries was ruled accidental. Fire officials say it started because of a malfunctioning machine. | |
