CARBONDALE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- Fire forced a Lackawanna County family of ten from their home. It happened Sunday afternoon around 2:30 in Carbondale on Maple Avenue.
Fire crews found flames shooting from the attic. A young girl was taken to Scranton CMC -- right now there's no word on her condition.
The family is expected to be out of their home for a significant amount of time.
The Red Cross could use some help so that it can continue helping victims like these. Brian Wrightson said, "When you make a donation locally to the Red Cross it stays locally. It stays in your community to help these people.
Fire investigators are looking for the cause but say it doesn't appear suspicious. | | |
