WILKES-BARRE , LUZERNE COUNTY- A former Luzerne County employee learnedhis fate today, for stealing tax payer’s money--lots of your money.

Carl Salitis of Throop came to court Thursday. He pleads no contest in the theft of some $100,000 dollars from the Recorder of Deeds Office. He was sentenced to 9 to 18 months house arrest, 5 years probation the surrender of his $65,000 dollar county pension. Plushe must repay from that $340,000 dollars to the county. That is the total amount missing under his watch.
