DIMOCK, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY - Congressman Chris Carney has a lot of reasons to celebrate this holiday weekend. He's received a promotion in the U. S. Navy Reserves.
Carney, who is also the Democratic Congressman in the 10th District, recieved the promotion this week. He went from Lieutenant Commander to the rank of Commander.
He was one of 34 reserve intelligence officers to receive a promotion. Carney has been in the Navy reserves since 1995.
Carney is facing a tough re-election big in November from Republican challenger Chris Hackett. | | |
