MIDDLEBURG, SNYDER COUNTY- Veterans in central Pennsylvania have reason for optimism when it comes to a planned V. A. clinic in Snyder County.
Congressman Chris Carney says he'll push to speed up the opening of the clinic when he meets with the V. A. Secretary next week. Carney's office announced several months ago that a clinic would be formed for veterans here.
But progress to get the clinic up and running has been slow. Carney says a transitioning administration at the V. A. may be partly to blame for the delay.
The new clinic would alleviate long drives to places like Wilkes-Barre and Lebanon for area veterans seeking medical care. | | |
