BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY- Brawls raged at times Saturday afternoon along back-street alleyways. Video footage obtained by Eyewitness News shows dozens of young adults involved in chaos on Bloomsburg streets.
As of Monday, police reported 155 arrests in a press release. Investigators indicated on Tuesday they were reviewing footage they, too, had received.
An officer said arrest numbers continued to climb as their review of video files continued. Most of the charges included public intoxication.
Earlier in the year, Bloomsburg leaders passed legislation meant to clamp down on gatherings larger than 150 people. Such a party would require a permit. On Saturday, police officials told Eyewitness News no permits had been obtained.
