EDWARDSVILLE, LUZERNE COUNTY- The Luzerne County District Attorney says vehicular homicide charges will be filed in relation to a crash that killed a Holy Redeemer High School student.

Ian Pope was killed when the car he was riding in slammed into a telephone pole in Edwardsville just two days before Christmas.

Officials are not releasing the name of the teen who will be charged, except to say he was behind the wheel that day.

The case will go to juvenile court. A hearing is scheduled for June.
