THROOP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - Charges have been filed in connection with a deadly accident from October.

Justin Taffera of Dunmore is facing homicide by vehicle and DUI charges in connection with an accident on Industrial Park Road in Throop.

Police say Taffera was drunk when he crashed his car. His friend and passenger Jonathon Wentline was killed.

Taffera is free on $50,000 unsecured bail.
