WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Chelsea Clinton continues to stump for her Mother's presidential campaign. Senator Hillary Clinton came to Northeast Pennsylvania Monday, followed by her daughter yesterday and then again today.

Looking a little tired, Chelsea Clinton stated, "I'm here to talk about my Mom and why I support her."

Chelsea Clinton paid a visit to Wilkes-University for a last minute "Q & A" with college kids across Northeast Pennsylvania. John Botch is the President of the College Democrats, the group responsible for organizing the event. "They contacted me Monday night and we had to put it together within 36 hours," he said.

They added extra security, a couple of Wilkes-Barre cops and followed a few Chelsea guidelines. Jerry Rebo is the Manager of Wilkes-University's Public Safety unit. "We had a parking place cleared for her, passage to and from her vehicle and the auditorium," he said.

The 28-year-old former First Daughter says she's ready for round two, stumping for mom, Hillary, who hopes to win the White House. Clinton added, "I'm proud my mom's standing up for universal health care."

The College Democrats and Political Science Club hoped to hear Hillary's take on issues important to the younger generation. Brittany Burns is a Wilkes-University Freshman and said, "Definitely college loans, Take out 14,000 to go this year and multiply it by 4 grad school also."

JoAnn Fine paid a visit from Wyoming. "I have three daughters, so student loans and health care," she said.

Chelsea outlined her Mother's plan to make college, grad school and loans even more affordable. Clinton stated, "She was the first (my Mother) to say get rid of FAFSA, so it's not so difficult to apply for aid."

But at least one student, an admitted Obama backer, left a little unsatisfied. Heather Chulick stated, "I'm going to have loans, when I'm more worried about than college affordability. It's past that time for me."

Some say they'd like to see more. Chulick added, "I'd like Obama here or a debate in Pennsylvania."

Clinton left Wilkes-Barre headed for Lebanon Valley College before campaigning in Pittsburgh tonight. President Clinton spent the day stumping in Johnstown and Erie.
