WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY- A unique fundraiser in Williamsport on Friday evening and there was plenty of horsing around.

It benefited the Williamsport Mounted Foundation.

The horses were outside....but inside Genetti's folks were enjoying an evening of fund raising.

The Mounted Patrol is a non-profit group supported by citizens and businesses who want to bring a sense of safety and protection back to their streets.

Chris Miller who founded the non profit group told us their primary motivation is to revitalize downtown Williamsport. And she added the presence of the Mounted Police helps ensure a safe area.

The group raises money that is used to help with all the needs of the unit. Friday’s event was entitled "Roses and Chocolate" and helped raise money for the group.
