WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY -- They're cutting some jobs in Williamsport. Mayor Gabe Campana says three people will be laid off.
Two firefighters and a clerk typist in the police department are out of job. Campana says itŐs because of the economy.
He also said in a news release the layoffs will not affect services or safety. They go into effect in two weeks. | | |
