Cogan Station, Lycoming County-

We’re told cleanup has finally gotten underway at an abandoned business site in Lycoming County.

Property owners called Eyewitness News with complaints about the Black Bear Truss Company on Upper Powys Road in Cogan Station.

We’re told the company abandoned the property nearly two months ago, leaving behind barrels and dumpsters of trash, and an infestation of rats.

When we stopped by Monday afternoon, much of the property had been cleaned up.

But neighbors say they’d still like to see the building locked up.

Attempts to reach officials at Black Bear Truss for comment were unsuccessful.
