WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY - There is another development in the ongoing corruption probe. Luzerne County Clerk of Courts Robert Reilly, who is facing a bribery charge, is now in plea negotiations with the U. S. Attorney's office.

Reilly was charged last month for allegedly taking a kickback from a man who did work with Luzerne County. Reilly was scheduled to have a hearing Thursday in federal court.

The I-Team has learned the U. S. attorney filed a motion to postpone that hearing because efforts are underway to reach a settlement in this case. That typically indicates some sort of deal or plea may be in the works.

Reilly has insisted he's done nothing wrong.
