SCRANTON - Senator Clinton smiled and waved with Governor Ed Rendell and Mayor Chris Doherty by her side. Thousands of screaming supporters waved signs, cheering on the woman who could be President.

Chellsie Heil of Taylor said, "I love Hillary. If I was old enough to vote, I'd vote for her."

"This is incredible. Most exciting thing that can ever happen and she loves us here," added Melisa Cantorno of Mayfield.

Throughout the parade route she shook hands, signed autographs, even carried a baby along the way. The Walshes of Dunmore and Peckville got a chance to see their favorite Presidential candidate up close.

Mike Walsh said, "She holds Northeast PA a special place in her heart - saw that today with the excitement in the parade."

Senator Clinton spoke with the parade hosts about the importance of Northeastern Pennsylvania to her campaign.

"It's important to me personally. I have a great sense of coming home and it holds the key to the Keystone State for me."

While plenty of Clinton supporters lined the parade route, you can't forget about the smaller but very vocal contingent of Obama supporters.

Max Kennedy, son of Robert F Kennedy, marched to support Senator Barack Obama. He said, "People have been open to Senator Obama and open to change. Good thing to see, feel and hear."

But the day belonged to the Irish and Clinton. If Saturday's support is any indication of how next month's primary will go, she'll have the luck of the Irish.
