SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - A trooper had a close call, Saturday, when his state police cruiser caught fire.
State police at Dunmore say Trooper Mark Prushinski was driving on the North Scranton Expressway Saturday afternoon around 12:30..
That's when he noticed smoke coming from the car.
He pulled over and got out as the cruiser burst into flames.
Trooper Prushinski was taken to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.
He's expected to be fine. | | |
