Williamsport, Lycoming County and Sunbury, Northumberland County-

Dozens of area Coca-Cola workers could soon be out of a job. The giant company is closing down plants in Williamsport and Sunbury.

The plants will be shut down at the end of next month. That will affect about 50 workers.

The local plants will be consolidated with Coca-Cola's Harrisburg operation.

Company officials say they hope many workers in Sunbury and Williamsport will get jobs in the Harrisburg facility.
