TOWANDA, BRADFORD COUNTY- The New York State man accused of killing three family members in their Bradford County home enters a plea in court.

31-year-old Steven Colegrove says he is not guilty of killing his parents and his older brother. He's accused of going into the victims' Tuscarora Township home in the early morning hours of August 8th and killing them with a shotgun.

In court the Bradford County District Attorney took the first steps in seeking the death penalty in the case by filing a notice of aggravating circumstances.

The case is eligible for the death penalty because prosecutors say Colegrove was robbing the victims, which is a felony, while committing the murders.

The trial is not expected to start until some time next year.
