College Purchases Three Properties

College Purchases Three Properties - Monday, March 9, 2009 at 4:08PM EST

Williamsport, Lycoming County-
Penn College officials have purchased three properties at the north end of the school’s main campus in Williamsport.

The lots will cost the school nearly half a million dollars.

The structures on the properties will likely be demolished to make way for additional parking.

Penn College is also leasing space to house its welding program for the coming year.

The program will be moved into the Eureka Paper Box facility.

That’s because extensive renovations are getting underway at the current facility on campus.
