WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A Luzerne County Commissioner says he has nothing to hide. He answered our questions after his father testified before a federal grand jury.

Greg Skrepenak spoke out for the first time since his father's testimony in Scranton. He says he did not know his father was going to testify before the grand jury and he insists he has nothing to hide.

Luzerne County Commissioner Greg Skrepenak was at Thursday's commissioner work session. By all appearances it was just another day, but this is the first time he's been in public since his father, Greg Skrepenak Sr., testified before a grand jury on Tuesday.

Eyewitness News was there as his father's lawyer, Peter Moses, came to court in Scranton. The elder Skrepenak testified for about 90 minutes. That testimony is secret, but of course speculation is it was about his son.

The commissioner insists he has nothing to hide and did not talk to his father about it. ŅI don't know. I really don't have anything to hide. If they want to talk to me that's fine," said the commissioner.

Again, testimony in front of any grand jury is secret, unless an indictment is filed or someone admits to a crime.

Neither Skrepenak has been accused of any wrongdoing. Sources tell the I-Team the testimony dealt with business contracts within the county.
