MOUNTAINTOP, LUZERNE COUNTY - Local soldiers in Iraq will soon receive a treat from some young supporters back home.

Members of Girl Scout troop "33-32" in mountain top met at Saint Paul’s Lutheran church to wrap up Girl Scout cookies to ship to our troops overseas.

Back in February, the girls collected donations in order to send 150 boxes of their famous cookies to local members of the military. They hope the cookies will arrive in time for the Easter holiday. The troops won't just receive a treat, each box of cookies has a personalized message inside the shipment's wrapping.
