FORTY FORT, LUZERNE COUNTY- Joe Cosgrove, Pittston native and well-known area attorney, says he was asked Friday by the governor's office to serve on the Luzerne County bench in an interim capacity after three judges were sunk in a sweeping corruption scandal. Cosgrove said he was humbled by the invitation and would accept. The state senate must confirm the appointment.
