A Williamsport couple was able to escape their burning home this morning after hearing their smoke alarms.
The fire started Friday around 2 a. m. at a double-block home on Linn St. in the Newberry section of the city.
The home of Mark and Maureen Roupp was fully engulfed by flames when crews arrived on scene.
The double block home is destroyed. The other side of the home was vacant.
The Roupp's are staying with relatives.
An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire. | | |
