PLAINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY - Nearly 100 homes in Plains Township spent Saturday afternoon with little or no water after a water main break.
Pennsylvania American Water officials say a 10-inch water line broke near Main Street Saturday morning.
Crews spent most of the day trying to locate the problem and fix it. Because of the water woes, people in the Birchwood Hills Development of Plains Township are being told to boil their water tonight.
The advisory is in effect until further notice. | | |
