LA PLUME, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A Police SWAT team, fire, ambulance and other emergency teams tested their skills during a crisis-response drill at Keystone College.

A scenario, which involved two armed gunmen holding hostages, was played out as if it were real on the campus.

Evaluators watched that scenario unfold, then reviewed the way each department handled its responsibilities.

A school spokesman said the drill proved to be very effective and was staged to be as realistic as possible.
