A Wilkes-Barre man says he was abused by police.
Now state police are investigating.

Luiz Cruz spent 10 hours in an emergency room.
He says his injuries were caused by Wilkes-Barre police.
The mayor and police chief say Cruz did not comply with officers orders to stop resisting and kept on trying to run away from those officers, in fact they say Cruz now faces charges.

But Cruz says he did nothing wrong and did not deserve what happened to him.
The officers involved in the case have not been reassigned while State Police investigate.
