Cuadra Takes the Stand, Kerekes Doesn't Testify - Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 5:55PM EST

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- A gay porn actor/producer on trial for murder took the stand in his own defense Tuesday in Luzerne County Court.
Prosecutors say Harlow Cuadra killed gay porn producer Bryan Kocis in his Dallas Township home in January 2007.

Cuadra testified he watched in horror as Joseph Kerekes, his business partner and lover, slashed and stabbed Kocis. Kerekes was scheduled to testify Tuesday, but changed his mind.

He's serving a life sentence after pleading guilty to second degree murder for his role in Kocis' death.
