MONROE COUNTY- The man accused of dismembering woman and scattering her remains along several highways could face the death penalty.

Police say Charles Hicks killed Deanna Null in January, then stuffed her remains in garbage bags and threw them along highways in the Poconos.

Hicks was formally arraigned Tuesday in Monroe County. The district attorney says he's going for the death penalty.

The trial is scheduled for September.
