SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A Scranton man accused of a triple murder is facing the death penalty.
The Lackawanna County District Attorney's office filed formal charges against Randal Rushing Wednesday. He's charged with brutally killing 20-year-old Justin Berrios, 22-year-old Dustin Hintz and his 16-year-old Stepbrother Leslie Collier.
The murders happened in a home on South Irving Avenue in Scranton in July. Prosecutors say 3 aggravating circumstances, including torture, led them to pursue the death penalty.
A trial date is has not been scheduled yet.
