DALLAS, LUZERNE COUNTY- The Dallas Area School Board suspends longtime football coach Ted Jackson for six months.

The board voted on the decision Monday night after the PIAA ordered the suspension.

It comes after an investigation into a incident at Tunkhannock Area High School last season. Dallas football players allegedly urinated on tennis courts during halftime of a game.

The board originally appealed a longer suspension.

Anthony Chiarucci was appointed interim football coach. He will stay in the position until September 26th. That's when Jackson will be allowed to coach again.
