WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Fresh back from a trip to devastated St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, Matthew Tucker sat down and talked with us about the crippled economy.

Hundreds of families are now without the ability to earn a paycheck, thanks to restrictions on fishing. Tucker said families are in need of everything from food and groceries to making rent and mortgage payments.

The 2004 Bishop Hoban graduate launched the effort "Restore the Gulf."

Tucker said he plans to return to Louisiana as soon as possible to continue assisting those who have lost the ability to earn a living.
