DALLAS, LUZERNE COUNTY -- A Back Mountain woman is charged with shooting her husband during an argument. 31-year-old Tammi McCormack of Dallas is locked up in Luzerne County prison.

Police say McCormack was arguing with her 62-year-old husband, Thomas, just after midnight in the couple's Main Street home. That's when investigators say she fired three shots striking him in the lower leg.

Tammi McCormack is charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. She faces a hearing on Thursday.
