The second day of our region wide blood drive with the American Red Cross is now in the books and a success.
The doors were open and people lined up at several more locations on Thursday including the Wesley United Methodist Church in Bloomsburg.
A similar scene in Schuykill County when donors turned out at the "Jerusalem Lutheran Church" in Schuylkill Haven.
The red cross says that every drop is needed in the Poconos the Sherman Theatre was the site for blood donations and the response there was overwhelming.
The grand total of productive units of blood 354 units.
And we thank you for giving the gift of life.
Our "Giving is Living" blood drives wraps up with a final drive at the Split Rock Resort Friday, January 11 in Lake Harmony from 1:30 to 6:30. | | |
