PALMYRA TOWNSHIP, PIKE COUNTY - A 14-year-old boy is dead after an ATV accident Saturday afternoon in Pike County.

State Police say it happened on Wilsonville Road in Palmyra Township just before 1:30 PM. Troopers say the teenager went off the road and hit a rock. The boy's ATV then flipped-over on top of him.

The boy, who is from Tafton, was rushed to the hospital but later died.

The name of the teenager has not been released in Pike County.
