AUBURN TOWNSHIP, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY - A Meshoppen man is dead after his SUV went off the road and crashed into a creek Friday night in Susquehanna County.

It happened on Route 3001 in Auburn Township just after 9:00 PM. State Police say Glen Kiefer lost control of his car and drove into the lake, where his SUV flipped over.

The coroner says the 39-year-old died because of drowning in Susquehanna County.
