One man has died after a fire in Luzerne County. It happened in the 400 block of Alden Mountain Road in Newport Township around 12:30 Saturday morning.
Fire crews say the blaze started in a upstairs bedroom. The homeowner was found in another bedroom. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
No word on his name or what caused this fire. But a State Police Fire Marshall is investigating.
