SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - Police confirm that a 9 year old boy died in a fire at 166-168 South Hyde Park Avenue in West Scranton. The fire broke out around 1:30 Tuesday morning. The victim's mother and two brothers, ages 10 and 12, were injured and rescued from a porch roof. They were all taken to the hospital. The Red Cross is helping victims forced out by the fatal fire. A Scranton fire inspector is searching for the cause.
