OLD LYCOMING TOWNSHIP, LYCOMING COUNTY -- A fire that killed a Lycoming County woman last week has been ruled accidental.

It broke out at a home along Fox Hollow Road in Old Lycoming Township, Friday morning. 39-year-old Traci Malone died in the fire.

The state police fire marshal says the fire was started by a cigarette in or near a sofa on the first floor.

Malone was found in the bathroom on the second floor. They also say there were no working smoke detectors in the home.
