VANDLING, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY -- Police have released the name of the man who died in a motorcycle crash Friday night.

Jacob Beautz was 23-years-old. He's from Uniondale. Police say Beautz was riding on Main Street in Vandling when he lost control of the bike.

Beautz and his passenger both flew off and landed in the road. Then an SUV hit them. Beautz died there. His passenger, Ashley Marques, is in critical condition at an area hospital.

Neither rider was wearing a helmet.
