HARRISBURG – The state Department of Agriculture is helping to alert schools about the nation’s largest beef recall, initiated Sunday evening by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

More than 190 Pennsylvania school districts have received the recalled beef products through the National School Lunch program, which is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, and they have been notified about the recall.
