District Investigating Alleged Relationship Between Teacher and Student - Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 11:31PM EST
HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY- Eyewitness News has learned that an investigation is underway in the Hazleton Area School District.
The I-Team has learned district officials are looking into allegations of an improper relationship between a teacher and a student. School Board President Brian Early confirms the district began an internal investigation into this matter Thursday.
Early says at this point he could not release any other information. The I-Team confirmed from sources close to the case that a male teacher was escorted out of the Hazleton Area High School Thursday by campus security.
Administrators plan to meet Friday to discuss the situation. We will have more on this story as it becomes available. | | |
